Man found slumped over at Goshen KFC arrested on drug charge

A man was arrested after police responded to a report of a driver slumped over behind the wheel at a Goshen restaurant.
Officers were called just after 7 p.m. on Friday, May 8,  to the Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 900 block of West Pike Street.
Police say officers investigated and found 47-year-old Bobby Nelms of Elkhart to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Nelms was taken to Goshen Hospital for medical clearance before being transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
