Pipestone Township man arrested after guns, drugs seized during search

A 41-year-old Pipestone Township man was arrested after authorities seized more than 30 firearms, cocaine and prescription pills during a search warrant operation Monday.
The Southwest Enforcement Team, Berrien County Sheriff’s Office, Drug Enforcement Administration and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed the warrant at a home in the 3000 block of Michael Road.
Investigators reported finding 31 firearms, including several ghost guns and a stolen firearm. Authorities also seized cocaine, more than 100 diazepam pills and additional firearm components.
The suspect was lodged in the Berrien County Jail and faces felony charges including drug trafficking, felony firearm, receiving and concealing a stolen firearm, possession of metallic knuckles and maintaining a drug house.
Authorities also discovered the man had two outstanding bench warrants.
The investigation remains ongoing.
