A Dowagiac man was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Cass County.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded just before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, to the area of M-152 and West Bay Drive in Silver Creek Township.

Investigators say the 58-year-old man was traveling north on M-152 when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole.

The driver was transported by SMCAS ambulance to Corewell Health in St. Joseph for treatment of his injuries.

Factors that led to the crash are still being investigated.
