A prominent Muslim civil rights organization is calling on Governor Mike Braun to publicly condemn recent anti-Islam remarks made by Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the statement following a “Faith Over Fear” interfaith rally at the Statehouse last week.
Religious and political leaders at the event urged the governor to take a stronger stance against Beckwith’s comments, which described Islam as a “death cult.”
The governor’s office has not yet responded to media requests regarding the rally or the civil rights group’s demands.

Note that CAIR is calling Beckwith a bigot, but they aren’t calling him a liar…
I agree with Beckwith. Generally, with individual exceptions, people of the Muslim faith are incompatible with the US Constitution system of laws. They are free to practice their religion. But when large numbers start to force their religious laws on The People or plan and plot terrorism out of their houses of worship they have crossed a line that cannot be allowed. As I said, there are exceptions. If the majority are the exception they need to step up and say so.
Islam as a “death cult
Look around the world, review Islam’s history
Islam’s penality for resistance is Death, and it has been that way since 700 AD.
Who is killing Christians in Africa?
What other religion/cult encourages death on non-belivers
