One injured in Cass County crash at M-60 and Daily Road

A 79-year-old woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Cass County.
The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of M-60 and Daily Road in Jefferson Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators determined that the woman was traveling south on Daily Road and attempting to enter M-60 when her vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by a 31-year-old New Carlisle, Indiana woman.
The 79-year-old driver was transported by ambulance to Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.
The Cassopolis Police Department and SMCAS Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Authorities said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the crash.
