The jury trial for an Elkhart County man accused of running over children and attempting to strike police officers has been delayed. 

37-year-old Jamarius Bryant faces attempted murder and resisting law enforcement charges tied to a stolen vehicle pursuit in October of 2025.

The Goshen News says investigators say Bryant hit two children in an alley near a school bus stop before later leading authorities on another chase in Marshall County. Bryant’s trial has been moved from July to November 16.

A status conference is set for September.
