Plymouth man, 51, dies in Marshall County crash

A Plymouth man was killed in a single-vehicle crash discovered Wednesday morning in Marshall County.

Deputies responded to U.S. 6 near Syracuse after receiving a report of a crash and found 51-year-old Robert Neiswender Jr. dead at the scene.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office, preliminary evidence indicates Neiswender was traveling westbound when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Investigators believe the crash occurred overnight.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the official cause of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
