An Elkhart County woman charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury has received a new trial date.

Prosecutors say Coleen Groman was involved in a June 2024 crash at County Roads 20 and 111 when her vehicle struck a utility pole.

According to The Goshen News, court documents indicate both Groman and a passenger were hospitalized, and her reported blood alcohol concentration was above the legal limit.

Her jury trial has been continued until November 30.
