The Benton Harbor Area Schools Board has approved a contract for its new interim superintendent.

Keith Sanders, who currently serves as principal of Benton Harbor High School, will officially take over the position on Saturday, July 25.

Sanders was selected for the role earlier this month as the district continues its search for a permanent superintendent.
