A Michigan City man is facing a serious felony charge in connection with a fatal drug overdose.
28-year-old Michael Stalling Jr. is accused of selling fentanyl pills to 22-year-old Brayden Hayman shortly before Hayman died from an overdose in December 2024.
Investigators say cellphone evidence and interviews led them to Stalling, who admitted selling pills to the victim.
He’s charged with dealing a controlled substance causing death and is being held in the LaPorte County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
