Indiana Dunes visitors warned of elevated E. coli levels

Visitors to Indiana Dunes National Park are being advised to stay out of the water at five beaches because of elevated E. coli levels.
Testing has found bacteria above state swimming standards at Mount Baldy Beach, Central Beach, Dunbar Beach, Portage Lakefront and West Beach.
Park officials say swimming at those locations could increase the risk of illness.
The beaches themselves remain open, but visitors are being urged to stay on shore.
Another round of water testing is being conducted, with updated results expected Friday.
