Former Mishawaka, Goshen football coach Bill Doba dies at age 85

Football coach Bill Doba, who coached at Mishawaka and Goshen high schools before reaching the college ranks, has died at 85.
Doba died after suffering a stroke more than a week ago.
He began his coaching career in Indiana high school football in the 1970s before becoming an assistant at Indiana University and Purdue University.
Doba eventually became head coach at Washington State University in 2003, where he became one of the most successful coaches in the program’s history.
