Two people hurt after crash at County Road 17, State Road 119

Two people are recovering after a crash in Elkhart County.

It happened just before 12 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, at County Road 17 and State Road 120.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says a vehicle was stopped at the intersection waiting to turn when a 67-year-old man struck them.

The driver of the vehicle that was hit told the cops he was facing south in the left turn lane when the other driver crossed the center line.

The driver allegedly at fault was not hurt, but the driver and the passenger in the vehicle was struck had to be taken to the hospital.
