High costs and lack of provider access are forcing many Hoosiers to skip necessary dental care. That’s according to a new report released by the Indiana Community Action Poverty Institute.

The study reveals that Indiana’s current affordability crisis is driving families to forgo oral health treatment for themselves and their children to avoid crippling debt.

The institute is urging state lawmakers to address these compounding barriers so all Hoosiers can access essential oral healthcare.
