Elkhart Christian Academy is moving forward with a three-year, $4 million plan to expand its campus, and construction is now underway on the first phase.
The school kicked off the construction phase of its Legacy Campaign after partnering with a design firm to develop a master plan for its 62-acre property.
Phase one includes a second entrance, a new main office and a learning resource center.
The school has raised about $2.6 million toward its $4 million goal.
The three-year campaign is designed to fund the projects in phases as the school continues raising money for the expansion.
