Traffic is moving again after a chain-reaction crash involving four semis shut down the eastbound Indiana Toll Road in Steuben County for several hours.
State Police say traffic was slowing for an overnight work zone near the Eastpoint Toll Plaza late Monday night, Sep. 14, when a semi failed to slow down and crashed into traffic ahead.
About 10,000 cans of green beans spilled across the highway, and one of the trucks caught fire. The driver escaped safely.
Two drivers were taken to a hospital with complaints of pain and were later released.
