Bristol is considering selling the Old Bristol Golf Club for $15,000, with the buyer promising nearly $6 million in improvements over the next 10 years.
Some people in town say the deal doesn’t give Bristol enough money for the longtime community golf course.
One resident says the property could be worth between $4 million and $8 million.
Town officials say the deal was chosen because the buyer has experience running golf courses and the money to make needed improvements.
