An Elkhart County man accused of murdering his wife appeared in court Thursday.

Aaron Williams is accused of shooting Patricia Williams in May 2025 at their home.

His attorney requested to withdraw from the case after Williams submitted a letter firing her.

The Goshen News says the judge reset discussions with counsel, while keeping a November 5 status conference and February 1 jury trial on the calendar.
