Bricks thrown through car, home windows in rash of vandalism cases

Several homes and vehicles in Concord Township have been damaged by vandals throwing bricks through windows.

Since July 8, five separate reports have been received, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.

The vandalism has been taking place during the early morning hours, between 12:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

It is believed that the bricks were most likely taken from an apartment complex in the township, according to a sheriff’s department report.

Reported damages to vehicles and homes have been reported at the following locations:

  • July 8 58000 block of Broadway Blvd.
  • July 8 23000 block of Broadway Blvd.
  • July 14-15 23000 block of Wedgewood Ct.
  • July 14 24000 block of County Road 16
  • July 15 56000 block of Pearl Ann Dr.
