Caucus set to choose new St. Joseph County Republican Party Chair

A caucus to elect a new Chair of the St. Joseph County Republican Party, will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 21, at St. Joseph County Republican Headquarters, 4133 S. Main St., South Bend, IN 46614.

This caucus is open only to St. Joseph County Republican precinct officials.

It was set after the sudden resignation of Party Chair Roy Saenz last week.

Those interested in filing to run for St. Joseph County Republican Party Chair need to submit a letter of intent to the County Party Secretary, Frank Fotia, at gop@gopsjc.com or by mailing the letter to PO Box 245, South Bend, IN 46624.

The letters must be received by 6:00 pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016.

The Party will hold all further comments regarding this matter until a new Chair has been elected.

Meanwhile, work of the St. Joseph County Republican Party continues under the interim leadership of Vice Chair, Lynn Fitzpatrick.
