A man from Niles is accused of sexually assaulting two women in Kalamazoo.

Stephen Casper, 19, is facing multiple counts, including criminal sexual conduct, first degree home invasion, and assault with intent to commit a second degree criminal sexual conduct, according to WJSM.

Early Sunday morning, police say Casper allowed himself into an apartment near Western Michigan University. The door was unlocked.

Officers say he sexually assaulted the two women living there after entering. They did not seek medical treatment afterwards. Cooper told police that he was in the area looking for a place to sleep that night, according to WWMT.

He’s being held in Kalamazoo County Jail on $35,000 bond.
