Goshen’s so-called “Unity Resolution” took a step forward Tuesday night.

The ordinance promotes being a good neighbor, and was discussed at a packed Goshen City Council meeting, according to ABC 57.

Numerous citizens of the Maple City stepped up to the microphone to express the need for equality, unity, safety, and trust in the community. Many of the comments were emotionally charged.

After a locked first vote, the resolution was passed the second time unanimously.
