Man, pets escape overnight house fire in Elkhart County

Fire crews in Elkhart County battled a blaze at a home on Bradley St. near Edison Rd. during the early morning hours on Thursday, Jan. 5.

The blaze broke out around 3 a.m. according to WSBT.

Fire crews arrived on scene to find flames and heavy smoke coming from the home.

An occupant and three pets were able to get out safely, WSBT reported.
