Benton Harbor residents will head to the polls on Tuesday to address a schools millage.

Voters will be asked to renew a two-mill sinking fund millage for the next ten years, a fund that helps support facilities in the district. If voters approve to renew the millage, taxes will not go up, according to WSJM.

The sinking fund addresses lighting, structural, and other issues and brings in just under $1.4 million per year to Benton Harbor Area Schools.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
