The town of Culver is a finalist again for Indiana’s Stellar Communities.

It’s the second year in a row that Culver has made the finals. A win would give the town more funding to boost the community, according to terms of the contest.

Having made the Top 3 last year as well gives them a position of experience to prepare their comprehensive plan for the state to try and have a better chance to win this year.

Those plans will be presented in August and a winner will be announced in November.

Churubusco and Union City were chosen along with Culver among communities with populations of 5,999 or less. Greensburg, Madison and Vincennes are finalists in the division for communities with populations of 50,000 or less. Warsaw was a finalist last year.
