Taste of Asia in Mishawaka closed after truck crashes through window

(Tom Franklin/95.3 MNC)

A Mishawaka restaurant has had to close until further notice.

Taste of Asia on North Main Street had no choice but to close its doors after a truck drove through the front dining area.

It happened just before 8 a.m. Saturday morning. Announcing the problem on their Facebook page, the restaurant said “we apologize for the inconvenience, but you know this one was definitely hard to predict.”

Taste of Asia says they’ve been in contact with their insurance company and hope the closure will be temporary, and they thanked their customers for their support over the last 11 years.
