Police in LaPorte County are looking for four men suspected in an armed home invasion.

The call came in just after 10 o’clock, CDT, on Wednesday, June 14, according to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers arrived at the home in the 4800 block of Clover Lane, just east of Michigan City High School, the sheriff’s office reported.

The suspects displayed a handgun and also took a handgun from the victim’s residence, according to investigators.

There were two adults and two children in the home at the time, though nobody was injured.

The suspects took off in an all-blue Chevrolet Avalanche and may have been headed to the Indianapolis area.
