Pedestrian struck and killed by train in Berrien County identified

Police in Berrien County are looking into the circumstances that led a 21-year-old man to be struck by a train.

It happened just before 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, at the tracks on Main Street in Galien, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Office identified the man killed as Christopher Herman, 21, of Galien.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
