Goshen named Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Community of the Year

Goshen has recieved top honors from the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

The Elkhart County community has been named the 2017 Indiana Chamber of Commerce Community of the Year.

Chamber President Kevin Brinegar told Inside Indiana Business that Goshen has written a “tremendous” economic turnaround story since the recession, as a key cog in the RV industry boom.

Other highlights that attracted the Commerce’s attention was the renovation and creation of the Hawks Arts and Enterprise Center, the LaunchPad Goshen coworking space, a new industrial business park, and the development of over 30 miles of biking and walking trails.

Inside Indiana Business reports the city will be formally honored during the chamber’s Awards Dinner on November 7th.
