Man recovering after gunshot wound to leg in South Bend

A man is recovering after being shot in the leg.

It happened just after 8:45 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17. Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called to the 400 block of South Wellington.

The man reportedly knoocked on the door of a home and received a bullet wound in the upper leg, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no word of any suspects or arrests as of 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.
