A Bristol man is going on trial this week for allegedly murdering his marijuana dealer last year.

18-year-old Jarrod Spigutz is charged with shooting Jared Foltz outside of the Elkhart Menards store on May 28. Court documents say Spigutz shot Foltz from the passenger seat of Foltz’s vehicle after Foltz had asked Spigutz to return his marijuana.

A plea deal was recently offered to Spigutz, but it was apparently turned down. Spigutz plans a self-defense claim during his trial.
