A shooting in Goshen left a man injured at an apartment complex Tuesday morning.

It happened at the Tanglewood apartment complex on the west side of Goshen shortly before 4:30 a.m. Residents at a nearby complex reportedly heard gunshots.

The victim went to Goshen Hospital on his own, where he was being treated for his injuries. Goshen police say he told them he was backing out of a carport when someone shot him and ran. It’s not believed the victim, a 35-year-old man, was targeted at random.

No one has been arrested and no suspect information is available, but police are continuing to investigate.
