Elkhart Comic Con promises bigger and better in September

(Tommie Lee/95.3 MNC)

Get ready, True Believers! The Elkhart Comic Con is coming back this fall.

Roughly a year ago more than 10,000 people showed up at the Lerner Theater for the city’s inaugural Comic Con, roughly three times the number that had been expected.

This year, the event will happen on September 8 and 9, to allow the chance to plan accordingly. The event will expand into the street this year to help with the overflow that caused the Fire Marshall to limit the number of people in the Lerner at times.

The event will have special guests again this year (names TBD) and the GameOn Virtual Reality Lounge will host a gaming center for the event.

Tickets go on sale in May. Volunteer and vender applications are being accepted now.
