Man killed in shooting on Pulaski St. in South Bend identified

The young man killed in a shooting in the area of Pulaski Street and West Dubail Avenue in South Bend has been identified.

Police were called to the area around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, where they found Lamar Foster, 18, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators with St. Joseph County Metro Homicide have interviewed several witnesses, but as of 12 p.m. on Wednesday, no arrests have been announced.

Anybody with information is asked to contract Metro Homicide.
