An Elkhart woman has been charged with the murder of her husband, and now she’s on the run from authorities.

Elder Castillo Senior was first reported missing on May 28 and was found dead in his home about a week later, wrapped up in the home’s garage with what authorities described as “various articles.”

ABC 57 reports receipts from three local stores were discovered and a woman who appeared to be his wife, Angelica Castillo, appeared in surveillance footage from the stores buying the items to wrap her husband’s body with.

She also may have bilked as much as $95,000 from her husband’s accounts in the month of May, according to court documents.

A warrant has been issued for Angelica Castillo’s arrest.
