The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a man found dead in a home this week.
Elkhart Police Department first got word that Elder Castillo Sr. was missing on May 28th, 2018. Castillo was found dead inside a home on the 700 block of Hiawatha Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Castillo was positively identified after an autopsy Friday, where it was determined he died of a gunshot wound.
