78-year-old woman dies after being struck by vehicle in Goshen

A 78-year-old woman in Goshen who was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday, Sep. 11, has died.

The woman, who was on a bicycle, was struck just before 3 p.m. in the 1900 block of S. 15th Street in Goshen, according to the Goshen Police Department.

She was trying to cross the street when she was hit by an SUV. She was unconscious, but breathing, and she was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, where she passed away, according to WSBT.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.
