Shooting under investigation near Columbia and Calvert in South Bend

South Bend Police are investigating a shooting that took place around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sep. 12, in the area of the Columbia and Calvert.

Officers were notified of a shooting victim who arrived at the hospital with a non-life threatening leg wound.

The victim told authorities he was walking in the area of Columbia and Calvert
when he was shot.

The suspect shooter is described to have been driving a dark colored vehicle.
