Check Into Cash store robbed in Benton Township

Police in Benton Township are investigating a robbery at the Check Into Cash store.

They were called to the Mall Drive location just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sep. 13, on the report of a robbery.

Workers said two men entered the store and demanded money, and one employee was pepper-sprayed.

It’s not known how much money the suspects got away with.

The suspects are still at large.

Anybody with information is asked to contact the Benton Township Police Department or Michiana Crime Stoppers.
