An Elkhart man faces charges of theft and home improvement fraud after an investigation by the St. Joseph County Adult Protective Services Unit.

Police have arrested Larry Lewis, 65, who is accused of accepting several chacks totalling more than $11,000 for products and services that he never delivered on.

He admitted to accepting the payments in July, but allegedly gave false information about fake companies and locations where certain equipment allegedly relating to the work was being stored.
