On October 1st of 2017 a gunman opened fire on the Route 91 Music Festival in Las Vegas from a hotel suite high above the venue.

Former South Bend Cubs Catcher Tyler Alamo was among the people in the crowd. A few days later, he spoke with Michiana’s Morning News on 953 MNC about what he experienced.
