A 25-year-old man who prosecutors say was found in bed with a 12-year-old girl was charged with one count of child molesting.

Preston Michael Craw, 25, was arraigned on Thursday, Jan. 17, on a level 4 felony child molesting charge, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The girl’s mother found Craw and her daughter in her bed when she came home from work on Friday, Jan. 11, according to police as reported by ABC 57.

Craw tried  to leave, but his car wouldn’t start, ABC 57 reported.

Craw told South Bend Police he though the girl was 15-years-old. He later said he knew she was just 12-years-old.
