South Bend’s mayor is on the New York Times Bestseller’s list.

The book, “Shortest Way Home,” by Pete Buttigieg, debuted at #9 on the hardcover non-fiction list.

The mayor has been on a book tour recently, and is, of course, still exploring a run for the presidency.

Buttigieg will host a free public event to discuss the book in downtown South Bend on March 13 at the St. Joseph County Public Library.

Mayor Buttgieiig is also featured on the cover of this week’s TIME magazine. A caricature of Buttigieg is seen, along with other Democratic Presidential contenders, looking into the Oval Office.
