28-year-old Berrien Springs woman killed in crash in St. Joseph Michigan

A 28-year-old Berrien Springs woman lost her life in a crash.

The collision happened around 4:40 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, at Port Street and Wayne Street in St. Joseph Michigan.

Upon arrival officers located a single vehicle that struck a tree off the roadway.

The victim, identified as Ashley Rae Grubb, was seriously injured and had to be extricated from the vehicle.  Grubb was transported to Spectrum Health Lakeland where she later died.

The circumstances that led to the collision were not immediately revealed by police.
