The victim of a deadly hit-and-run on South Bend Avenue was a Notre Dame graduate.

Hannah Turgeon, 27, died outside the Linebacker Lounge on Sunday, Oct. 13, after being struck while trying to cross the street.

Notre Dame President, The Reverend John Jenkins says Hannah was a 2014 graduate and her father was a 1981 graduate.

The driver took off without stopping.

The suspect vehicle is a dark-colored SUV. Anybody who knows who the driver is or thinks they’ve seen the vehicle is asked to call police.
