Knox gas station raising funds for community schools

Residents of Knox have the opportunity to support their schools just by filling up their gas tank.

Ten cents of every gallon purchased at the Zingo BP station on East Danker Street goes to the school corporation, according to WSBT.

The funds will support a new security system called “Raptor” for the schools. Some of the expected funding for the system, which was expected to come from the state, failed to materialize.

The fundraiser runs through the end of November.
