Man suffering from life-threatening injuries following Monday night shooting in Elkhart

A man is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a Monday night shooting in Elkhart.

Police were conducting a traffic stop around 11:45 p.m. when they heard gunfire coming from the 600 block of W. Marion Street.

WSBT reports when officers arrived to the scene, they found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
