Mother and Disabled Son Escape House fire

It started during the 6pm hour Tuesday near the corner of Apple Road and Adams Street Trucks from multiple departments showed up to battle the blaze. The roof actually collapsed back into the house while firefighters were battling the blaze.

Officials say there was a woman and her disable son were inside at the time, but neither suffered any injuries. There were also pets inside the home, but WNDU reports they all made it out safely. What caused the fire is still unknown.

Donations for the displaced family came be made at the Apple road Theatre and Ministry.
