Planning on Black Friday shopping this week?
If so, you may be wondering where you can score the best deals. Personal finance website WalletHub has released its 2019 report “Best Stores for Black Friday”, which ranks the top ten stores with the best discounts, as seen below:

In terms of specific categories with great discounts, the study reports “Apparel and Accessories” has the biggest share of discounted items, and JCPenney has the highest discount on toys, with an average savings of 47%.
Overall, the average discount for Black Friday this year is roughly 40%. WalletHub says consumers should aim for this discount amount or higher to avoid Black Friday traps.
