Its going to be a bit longer before South Bend’s new disciplinary matrix will be made official.
It was expected to be approved at a meeting on Wednesday, but Mayor Mueller wanted a delay so the matrix can be discussed by the Community Action Group in February.
Officials say they remain in favor of the matrix, which publicly lays out disciplinary actions for officer in number of different scenarios.
